Flying in from her base in Miami Florida USA for her UK debut and opening the EFG London Jazz Festival for two nights, comes the outstanding soul, blues and jazz singer Nicole Henry, supported by the Chris Ingham Quartet.
Nicole's potent combination of dynamic vocal abilities, impeccable phrasing, and powerful emotional resonance have made her one the jazz world's most acclaimed vocalists. Her repertoire includes the American Songbook, classic and contemporary jazz, standards,blues, and originals. Also featured will be music from her tribute album to the legendary song stylist, Nancy Wilson.
Nicole’s passionate, soulful voice and heart-felt charisma has earned her a Soul Train Award for “Best Traditional Jazz Performance,” three Top-10 U.S. Billboard and HMV Japan jazz albums, and rave reviews around the world.

The EFG London Jazz Festival celebrates 25 years in 2017 and The Other Palace are happy to be hosting a great line up as part of the celebrations. JBGB Events have as in previous years’ put together a brilliant programme of concerts for the Studio from award-winners, all-time great UK musicians to acts from the US and Europe making their EFG London Jazz Festival debuts.
Alongside these acts we are welcoming BBC Young Jazz Musicians of the year who will be performing alongside established musicians.
