The Barford Stoneman Quintet - Lunchtime

To entertain our St Johns Smith Square Swinging Sunday audiences before the  Swinging Afternoon 2.30pm concert – featuring Clare Teal and her Mini Big Band, and then later before the Swinging Evening at 7.30pm for the Ella Fitzgerald Centenary Concert – featuring Liane Carroll and Claire Martin, we present the Barford Stoneman Quintet.

For 45 minutes before each concert, from 1.45pm to 2.30pm and again from 6.45pm to 7.30pm audiences can sit back and be entertained – at no extra charge - by this Quintet of award winning young musicians playing creative, inventive, stylish be-bop jazz.

Led by Joel Barford – drums and Noah Stoneman – piano, the Quintet features Harry Greene – tenor saxophone, BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year, Alexandra Ridout – trumpet and Miles Mindlin – guitar.

JBGB Events are delighted to have this opportunity to present the very best of young British jazz talent to our St Johns Smith Square audiences.
