For the second week of our Christmas Party Jazz Lunches, we welcome the wonderful entertaining voice and engaging personality of Clare Teal for five consecutive lunchtime concerts, with the great, award-winning Jason Rebello at the piano

Now a Jazz FM broadcaster Clare’s Sunday night 2-hour show is enjoying rave reviews.

This further opportunity to hear her evocative voice spanning a wide range of delightful songs, combined with her self deprecating northern wit, makes these Christmas Party Jazz Lunch concerts, a must get to series. If pure Christmas entertainment from a jazz music star appeals, then buy tickets for the best seats as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Clare is equally at home on large stage venues, including the BBC Proms at The Albert Hall, The Cadogan Hall and the EFG London Jazz Festival with her Mini Big Band at St.John’s Smith Square, as well as in smaller, intimate, club environments such as Piano Smithfield, Crazy Coqs and The Pheasantry

Clare is once again joined by her regular accompanist, the brilliant pianist Jason Rebello, winner of the British Jazz Awards 2017 Best Pianist, followed by his triumphant concert in the 2018 London Jazz Festival. His eagerly awaited performances in the 2019 and 2020 Steinway two-piano Festival concert with Julian Joseph were such an outstanding success that they returned again in 2021.

In April 2021 he opened the new London Solo Jazz Piano Series

vocalist Jo Harrop, already building a sparkling reputation as one of our very best, jazz singers, makes her Dean Street Christmas Party debut this lunchtime with delightful evocative performances of many great Christmas songs.

Thursday December 7^th

vocalist Joanna Eden is not only a star of Jazz At The Movies but also admired for her interpretations of the music of Joni Mitchell and Ella Fitzgerald, appearing in the Jazz Divas series at The Pheasantry

Friday December 8^th

Denny Ilett, director of the Bristol jazz festival is a remarkable singer and knock-out guitarist, embracing swing, bebop, blues, rock and everything in between.
