Returning to perform in our Jazz Divas 2023 series, we welcome the wonderful Clare Teal, by common acclaim rated one of the very best U.K. jazz singers, with her accompanist Jason Rebello, following her much talked about sold out double header in 2020 and in last year’s 2022 shows at The Pheasantry
Now a Jazz FM broadcaster Clare’s Sunday night 2-hour show is already attracting rave reviews.
This opportunity to hear her evocative voice spanning a wide range of delightful songs, combined with her self deprecating northern wit, makes these two concerts a must get to night out. If pure entertainment from a jazz music star appeals, then buy tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Clare is equally at home on large stage venues, including the BBC Proms at The Albert Hall, The Cadogan Hall and the EFG London Jazz Festival with her Mini Big Band at St.John’s Smith Square, as well as in smaller, intimate, club environments such as The Pheasantry and Crazy Coqs.
For these two concerts , Clare is once again joined by her regular accompanist, the brilliant pianist Jason Rebello, winner of the British Jazz Awards 2017 Best Pianist, followed by his triumphant concert in the 2018 London Jazz Festival. His eagerly awaited performances in the 2019 and 2020 Steinway two-piano Festival concert with Julian Joseph were such an outstanding success that they returned in 2022 for two sold out concerts.
In April last year he opened the new London Solo Jazz Piano Series at Piano Smithfield.

"Sensitive vocals, with a very personal musical approach making great songs all her own”. - Gregory Porter
