London’s newest and increasingly popular jazz cabaret venue, Piano Smithfield, welcomes Elaine Delmar – our greatest and evergreen interpreter of the Great American Songbook, with her trio, for her debut venue concert.
Singing with her emotive and evocative swinging style, Elaine entertains tonight with the music of the two greatest songwriters of the 20th century - George Gershwin and Cole Porter.
For many years Elaine Delmar has graced the best international music venues and delighted audiences with her wide vocal range and most engaging, attractive personality. Recent London highlights include her sold-out appearances at Ronnie Scott’s, her compelling presence in the Jazz Divas series at The Pheasantry and cabaret shows at the Crazy Coqs.
In Autumn 2022 she performed a double -header, both sold out shows, at Pizza Express Live in Holborn, with the Mark Nightingale 16-piece Big Band, singing the long lost, but now restored, arrangements from the UKs greatest 20th century’s arrangers and enjoying rave reviews from Jazz Journal.
For this Elaine Delmar Piano Smithfield debut concert, sit forward and enjoy musical gems from George Gershwin including “Summertime”, “The Man I Love”, “‘S Wonderful“ and “I’ve Got Rhythm” alongside Cole Porter’s masterpieces including “Anything Goes”, “Night &Day”, “I Get A Kick Out Of You”, and “Let’s Do It”
