Eliana Veinberga – Mellow Jazz Sounds

Thursday September 28

Eliana Veinberga
– Mellow Jazz Sounds

Piano Smithfield, Long Lane, Barbican, London

Eliana Veinberga made her Piano Smithfield debut in February 2022, with such success and audience appreciation, that we are pleased to invite her return. This evening concert is another opportunity to hear an intimate performance showcasing the mellow side of her favourite jazz and soul artists.

Featuring the music of artists such as Norah Jones, Melody Gardot, Stevie Wonder and Chet Baker - expect fresh arrangements of classics such as "Nearness of You" and "Don't Know Why”. A perfect concert for an early Autumn treat.

Eliana is a London based jazz singer songwriter who’s velvety mellow yet powerful voice has been compared with that of Melody Gardot and Gretchen Parlato.

Originally from Latvia, Eliana moved to the UK to study at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Now, after her studies, Eliana is quickly making a name for herself in the London music scene and is performing nationwide with ensembles such as National Youth Jazz Orchestra, London Vocal Project, Forget Regret, Ralph Porrett Quintet and many more.

Eliana can be seen performing at venues such as Ronnie Scott’s, Pizza Express Jazz Club, Barbican, The Vortex and many more.

Sit back and be spellbound by Eliana’s purity of vocal in the ballad “Blame It On My Youth” & the fabulous upbeat "Sonny Boy"
