Whether performing on tour with BBC’s Jools Holland or with Roxy Music or performing Aretha Franklin’s American Songbook, Louise’s sonic skills span across genres: Jazz, Pop, R&B, Electronic, Classical or Gospel music. And all the while, her voice resonates, crackles, pops and burns as a phoenix rises from the flame.
Currently a lead singer with Jools Holland and his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Louise has worked with David Gilmour, Beverley Knight, Michael Ball, Robbie Williams, Bryan Ferry, Ronnie Wood, Van Morrison, Madeline Bell, Steve Winwood to name but a few.
Joining Louise for this blues infused lunchtime concert will be Multi award winning saxophonist, and star of the Jules Holland band, Derek Nash, currently hitting the high spots with his Some Kinda Wonderful – Music of Stevie Wonder show, and ace keyboard maestro Neil Angilley.
Here’s Louise performing a great Chaka Khan song.
