Following their sold-out Dean Street concert last summer, it’s a welcome return for the Harry Greene Quintet. The future of Jazz is in great hands with this quintet of our most exciting and respected jazz musicians, already making names for themselves as outstanding live and recording musicians
Led on Tenor Saxophone by Harry Greene, and featuring the high riding trumpet of Reuben Fowler, this Quintet play hard bop arrangements from the amazing Blue Note catalogue of the late 1950’s to 1980, capturing the musical spirit of Art Blakey, Dexter Gordon, Hank Mobley, Donald Byrd, Horace Silver, Freddie Hubbard among others, performing with their own style, improvisation and originality.
