Chris Ingham arrives at Crazy Coqs to entertain not only with his legendary piano and vocal skills but also adding stories and anecdotes from the lives of five all time music greats. Over consecutive Wednesdays in February-March 2020, Chris and his guests will delight and entertain in London’s most intimate cabaret room.

Over several years, Chris Ingham has built a reputation not only as an accomplished pianist, band leader, vocalist and arranger, with Jazz At The Movies, his REBOP Band playing the work of Miles Davis, Horace Silver and many more, but also as an inspiring interpreter of the life and times of musicians.

Chris takes us through the remarkable life and work of Johnny Mercer, the songwriter Oscar Hammerstein called “the most perfect American lyricist”.

With superb songs including “Autumn Leaves”, “Come Rain Come Shine”, “Days Of Wine and Roses”, “Moon River”, “Satin Doll”, “Tangerine”, “That Old Black Magic” and so many more, audiences are kept spellbound not only by the wonderful music, but also by the life and times of this great song writer.
