The series starts with arguably the UK’s premier swing, jazz and jive band, Jivin’ Miss Daisy.
Led by outstanding jazz musician Simon Thorpe on the double bass, The Hoste will be the premium joint for all Hepcats and Hepkittens. You’ll be at home with great music from the likes of Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and Count Basie.

Guests at The Hoste of Jazz will dine in the stylish Garden Room, acous cally designed for stunning musical evenings. Local produce is an important feature on the summer menu. Strawberries and asparagus come from Sharrington in Melton Constable. Oysters are supplied by Richard Loose who farms them in neighbouring Burnham Creek. Another local fisherman, Simon Letzer supplies lobsters and provides The Hoste with smoked salmon and breakfast kippers.
