Elaine Delmar, winner of the Parliamentary Jazz Awards Best Singer in 2013 and most recently 20 years on in 2023, returns to Crazy Coqs, following her several sold-out concerts with the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Jerome Kern, not forgetting her memories of Lena Horne, and collections from her “MUSICAL BOTTOM DRAWER”.

She returns in the EFG London Jazz Festival, for this double portion of her Musical Feast, across two different and distinctive concerts.

Tuesday November 19th @7pm she performs “Let Me Sing You A Song”. Elaine is renowned for her interpretation of a beautiful lyric and tonight she will be doing what she does best; delving into her huge repertoire of songs to thrill you with familiar favourites and surprisingly little-known gems, accompanied by her outstanding regular trio of

Barry Green – piano,

Simon Thorpe – double bass and

Bobby Worth -drums.

Saturday November 23rd at 2pm she performs “An Afternoon at Duke's Place” celebrating the epoch changing songs of the great Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn, featuring the ever-popular saxophone star that is

Alan Barnes, with

Barry Green – piano and

Dave Green- double bass.

Elaine has long been established as a singer of the very highest calibre - with the voice, looks and personality that have captivated world-wide audiences.

She’s equally at home, whether entertaining a concert audience, or performing in the more intimate cabaret/small theatre settings.

In addition to her many sold-out concerts at Crazy Coqs, her American Song Book presentations sold out at Ronnie Scott’s, The Pheasantry and Piano Smithfield, plus in a spectacular big band show for the London Jazz Festival

Here’s Elaine with the timeless Gershwin classic “S’Wonderful.”
