Chelsea Lunches at The Pheasantry, across October & November, is a new series of concerts, from JBGB Events, featuring top class musicians for relaxed, engaging and entertaining 80-minute Sunday concerts on the Kings Road, for you, with your partner, your friends and families.

For this, the third in our Chelsea Lunches series, we welcome the most soulful voice of the highly rated and awarded singer  Polly Gibbons, accompanied by James Pearson

Following her successful concert in the Jazz Divas series at The Pheasantry and making  a most successful debut in the Piano Smithfield Autumn 2022 Jazz series, it’s a warm welcome return for the great soulful singer Polly Gibbons, accompanied by James Pearson, the piano great Music Director of Ronnie Scott’s  and outstanding performer in the 2022 “Jazz Solo Piano Series” and his outstanding “100 years of Jazz piano” recital at the Crazy Coqs.

The song “Body And Soul” could have been written with Polly Gibbons in mind. Polly is one of our most distinctive voices, with an expressive, passionate style, creating tender feelings that touch international audiences.

For this Chelsea Lunches concert, Polly gives voice not only to the music of great soulful musicians, including Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding, 

Ray Charles and Nina Simone among others, but also showcases her creativity as an original song writer.

Polly is a major presence on the UK Jazz scene, having been nominated twice as "Best Jazz Vocalist" by JAZZ FM and the BBC. She embraces the inspiring expansiveness of American Jazz, Blues, Soul and R&B. 

Her repertoire and the style with which she performs it, have led her to appear at the Royal Albert Hall, opening with George Benson and Gladys Knight and at the legendary Birdland Jazz Club and Ronnie Scott’s. Her music and her voice have a broad appeal to music lovers - and her ongoing touring over the last few years in the USA has garnered her many new fans.
